Which is the best blog platform?
Is it Blogger.com? Wordpress.com? Wordpress.org? Movable Type? Textpattern? b2evolution?.. etc. And if you familiar with opensource contents management system (CMS), you might considering Joomla, Drupal.. etc as a blog platform as well.
For me, definitely I choose WordPress.org (I mean the ‘hosted on own domain’ one) is the best blog platform. Why I choose WordPress? It simply because of…
1. It is clean & simple coded opensource software.
2. Being an opensource, it is free but priceless.
3. Super easy to install/setup.
4. User friendly and safe… It will suit everybody needs, either you just want to start a blog today or you are seasoned pro blogger.
5. It have thousands of free themes & plugins to customize your blog’s looks & functions.
6. Simply the chosen blog platform by well known pro bloggers like Darren Rowse, Yaro Starak, Justin Tadlock, John Chow, Gobala Krishnan…etc. And don’t forget to mention giant company like Play Station, The New York Times, Ebay…etc, who choose WordPress as their blog platform.
7. Hundreds of thousands communities members to supports either for sourcecode developments or creating themes & plugins.
8. Almost all webhosting support it.
9. Over 400% increasing of users… the number speaks itself..
10. The list goes on…
You not agree? Hey! this is my thought..my choice (actually thousands of other’s choice also). If you not agree WordPress is the best blog platform, what is your choice?
